Federal Civil Service Commission opens portal, begins recruitment

The start of hiring processes for a number of Federal Civil Service positions has been announced by the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).

This comes days after the commission denied rumours of ongoing hiring and stated that it would make a formal announcement regarding the start date of its hiring process.

FCSC encouraged interested and qualified Nigerians to apply for the open jobs via the commission's online recruitment portal in a statement released Monday by Taiwo Hassan, the Commission's Head of Press and Public Relations.

According to the statement, candidates may only submit one application for a post.

According to the statement, applications are being accepted by the Federal Civil Service Commission for a number of Federal Civil Service positions. The commission's website, www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng, and national newspapers both post the job opening notification.

"Only one application should be submitted by qualified candidates via the application link: https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng.

Candidates with physical disabilities should describe their condition.

"Applicants must upload the relevant documents listed below: I) Curriculum Vitae, II) Certificate of Ph.D. or Master's Degree,
III) Certificate of Degree, HND, or NCE; IV) Certificate of WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB; V) Certificate of Primary School; VI) NYSC Discharge/Exemption/Exclusion Certificate; VII) Birth Certificate/Age Declaration; and VIII) Identification by the Local Government
IX) A recent photo from your passport

"All applications must be submitted by Monday, March 10, 2025, at the latest."
